In honor of the new movie, Hi-C is reviving one its most successful tie-in products of all time. The description in the post says, “Guess who escaped from the vault for an exclusive commemorative drop just in time for Ghostbusters: Afterlife? While this ghostly green drink won’t be available for purchase, show us the 💚 & and you may get slimed!” Ghostbusters: Afterlife hits theaters on November 19, 2021. In a recent Instagram post from Hi-C, the drink company released a fun little throwback video from 1989 of Slimer in a convenience store cooler knocking over a bunch of Hi-C Ecto Coolers, then a shot of Staypuft Marshmallow men clamoring around a new 12 oz. Ghostbusters: Afterlife is directed by Jason Reitman, son of Ivan Reitman, director of the original Ghostbusters movie.
